What is Rho Kappa?

Rho Kappa is the only national organization for high school Juniors and Seniors that recognizes excellence in the field of Social Studies.

Members must demonstrate excellent academic performance, carrying a 3.0 GPA (unweighted) or higher, provide service toward their school or community, and exhibit the attributes of leadership and good citizenship.

We are always searching for opportunities in our community and school so that we may use our talents to serve others.

I encourage all Juniors & Seniors who love history and are interested in serving our school and community to join Rho Kappa this year.

Any questions, see Ms. Flach in room 411.

Each participant must:

* have a 3.0 GPA or higher,

* be a junior or senior,

* have completed at least one year of history/social studies courses

* member of Pine Forest High School

* have a keen interest in history

* be prepared to complete community service projects

* attend monthly meetings and activities

Seniors who have been active members and have a minimum of 20 community service hours with Rho Kappa will have the opportunity to receive graduation cords for their service.
